Employee Referral Program Policy


Rationale

At Trahan Mechanical, Inc. (TMI) we strive to find and hire the best talent available people who exude our values and choose to contribute to our company goals. We believe that our existing employees, who already meet these criteria, are in a great position to help us find the best candidates. We recognize that current employees are likely to refer only those individuals best suited to work at our company, and therefore we wish to reward them for their referral efforts.

Positions

We accept employee referrals for any open position listed on our current Job Positions at on Employment on

https://www.trahaninc.com/job-positions.

We also welcome referrals for highly skilled individuals who may not match up exactly with a posted job.

Incentives

To reward employees who participate in this program, we provide the following incentives, which are stackable:

 

●     $25 for any referral submitted who participates in an interview with TMI.

●     $2,000 for any referral submitted who is hired by TMI and remains in their position for 90 days.

●     One (1) additional day of paid time off (PTO) for every three (3) referrals submitted and interviewed.

Instructions

If you know someone who is qualified for an open position with TMI refer them to HR via the internal link provided. You will need to provide the referral’s name, contact information, and resume. HR or the hiring manager may reach out to you with additional questions and will keep you updated on the status of your referral.

TMI will look to select the best candidate for the position despite if the candidate has been referred. While an employee referral program is a great recruiting tool, TMI will only use this program as a percentage of its recruiting effort to avoid creating an unintentional disparate impact on some protected groups if employees refer candidates of the same race, religion, national origin, or any other protected class. All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with Trahan Mechanical, Inc. policies and procedures. All information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.

Any disputes or interpretations of the program will be handled through the Department of Human Resources.

Notification:

TMI Recruitment Team will notify the referring employee of their eligibility and time frame of when they will be eligible for their referral reward via email from Info@trahaninc.com. TMI’s Recruitment Team will complete the Personnel Action Form and submit to the Finance Department/Payroll to pay the referral reward. The payment will be reflected in the employee’s paycheck

Program Changes: 

We may change our referral bonus program over time to add more interesting incentives. We also reserve the right to abolish certain rewards if they prove ineffective or inefficient. Employees who referred candidates before a reward was abolished or changed will still receive the appropriate reward.
